May 2010 Update
Well, we are getting closer and closer to Tasha’s Treatment start date 1st September 2010, We plan to leave on the 24th August if we raise all the funds needed as we need to pay the final payment for Tasha’s Treatment before the 1st August 2010.
I would like to say “THANK YOU” to a few people who have helped us achieve so much this month, TJ for Riding a push Bike from Molong, NSW to Sydney then down the coast to Strathpine Westfield’s where TJ continued to Raising money and awareness for Tasha’s Appeal,
Jamie Dunn from 4BC for helping me get Tasha’s story out to the Public and helping me find Louise from Packaged Events as she is helping us plan Tasha’s Fundraising Gala Dinner.
This Month started with TJ starting his ride on the 1st may and TJ Raised about $2100 including a cheque for $100 from the Cabonne Council. Thank you TJ and his girlfriend Bronwyn and their children for Helping our family. TJ you are AMAZING, I would also like to Thank 4BC, 99.7, Quest Newspapers and Westfield’s especially for all there support during TJ’s Ride and there continual support during Tasha‘s Appeal.
On the 1st, we also had another wonderful lady, Patricia, who held a ladies wear fundraiser party and was able to raise $300. Thank you to Patricia.
$1000.00 Donation from Peter Dutton MP and $2000.00 in donations into account, Cash, Pay Pal and via cheques including one from Crows Nest Buffalo Lodge. I would like to thank everyone who has helped Tasha by Donating and support helping Tasha get her sight, you are all wonderful people.
We have also been continuing our Meat tray Raffles at the Warner Tavern on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm, this month we have been able to raised Just under $750. Thank you to all our locals as without you we would not be able to continue our Raffles each week. Our last week at the Warner Tavern will be the 31st July 2010.
This Month’s Total is $44000 (Including $6000 deposit for Tasha’s treatment)
We still need to Raise $15000 in about 8 weeks.
