April 2010 Update
I would like to start this update by saying how grateful our family is for all the support and donations we are receiving and have received.
We only have 20 weeks till we leave as hope to leave about the 24th of August 2010, But we still have a bit of money to raise in this time and need to get visa’s, and flights about 8 weeks before we leave and the final payment for Tasha’s treatment needs to be payed by the
1st August. So please don’t stop spreading Tasha’s Story yet.
Well I am sure April has been our best month yet.
We made it on the TV on the Today show (Channel 9)
We have also done an interview on 99.7 Community Radio
And 96.5 Radio
We got lots of Donations from the public which we are extremely grateful for,
They added up to around $5000. I have not put people’s names if I have them as I’m not sure if you would like them published. I cannot thank you all enough for your help.
We held a Cent Auction and the response was amazing, if you came I thank you. We were able to raise $4200. So we decided to hold 2 more the dates are 13th June 2010 and 11th July 2010. Doors open @ 1pm.

As it was Easter and we had the Cent Auction we were only able to go 2 Saturdays this month to The Warner Tavern to sell our raffle tickets but we were still able to raise $404.05. Thank you to all our locals each week you bring us closer to our goal.
This Month’s Total is $38000 (Including $6000 deposit for Tasha’s treatment)
NEXT MONTH
T.J. Pommerening is starting on a 1250km charity bike ride from Molong NSW to Brisbane Qld. He is trying to raise funds for Tasha, Once TJ learned that we didn’t have long to come up with the rest of the money needed for the Procedure ($21000) he suggested that he ride a push bike from Molong (NSW) where he lives to Brisbane, Strathpine (where Tasha lives). As he rides he is collecting donations from people. The ride will take approx 14-18 days and T.J left Molong on the 1st of May 10, Westfield’s Strathpine will be T.J meeting place.
